I prefer it in one color though.
I made a pareo and a tunic. Just need good sunny day to shoot pictures.
Here some pictures of Russian designers projects. My favorite is Olga Krivenko.

ReplyDeleteThe most beautiful art work done with a needle that I've seen that's wearable. I've never seen Irish crochet art .. I learned crocheting 50yrs ago making doilies. I have made many things, but have not seen anything as beautiful. Thank you for sharing your art.

ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI am new in crochet, (I just have done a few pieces)and my new year resolution will be to make a pink graduation dress in Irish crochet. I saw your Irish crochet project and there are very beautiful. I have a few questions if you please...
What numbers and type (cotton, or nylon, etc..) of threads or yarns and hooks are suitable for Irish crochet. Some of the works I saw look very thin.
Thanking you. Regards,
Fantastichic
Absolutely gorgeous. Do you have free patterns or tutorial. This is exactly what I am looking for as far as style .
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing such beauty.

ReplyDeleteHI Elizabeth, sorry, I took a long time to answer. First I was thinking what to answer and then just forgot. I was traveling for the last 2 months. Sorry again. I am glad I inspired you! You can see an ad next to "followers" - Irish Crochet Lab. My friend Larisa runs this web-site. She offers some Irish Crochet patterns and she was planning to do classes, I am not sure how it's now, she was working on it. Anyway, she is better than me in Irish Crochet and in touch with other masters. Please, go to this web-site, contact her, I think you will find some useful tips and classes. Please, go to this web-site, contact her, I think you will find some useful tips and classes. It's her goal to tech Irish crochet, I am kind of trying to do everything. ;)
